Crook of Devon Taxis

A picturesque village situated 6 miles southwest of Kinross, stradling the A977. The name derives from the sudden change of direction of the river Devon, forming a sheperds crook like appearance.

The village offers a long-established inn, local shops & a deer farm. The local area has an abundance of walking trails, either through the surrounding woodlands, or following the meanderings of the river.

A photograph of Crook of Devon Village Hall taken from the opposite side of the A977 main road that passes through Crook of Devon and Drum on its way to Kinross. The image is zoomed in on the Village Hall and just cuts off Crook of Devon's War Memorial on the left. The steps and ramp leading up to the main entrance with a red door are lined by metal railings. The roof is made of slate and has a clock protruding from the top.
